Library Budget News

The Library book budget for Fiscal Year 2010 is almost $40,000 less than our FY 2009 budget. Combined with the $20,900 cut we sustained in Fiscal Year 2008, the book budget is now about $60,000 less than it was three years ago. Your generous gifts are more important than ever, and we are grateful for every donation, large and small.

Thank you for showing such strong support and appreciation for your library!

Friends of the Kingston Public Library

Psst, Rumor has it…
Kingston is chock full of great cooks!

The Friends of Kingston Public Library are compiling a one of a kind cookbook of some of Kingston’s finest recipes entitled Recipes from a Seaside Village and we need your help!

We’re doing a town wide search for absolutely the best recipes we can find and were starting by asking the members of our town!

Do you have a terrific recipe you’d like to share?

Whether it’s an awesome appetizer, a scrumptious salad, a delightful dessert or an enticing entree we would like to add it to this special collection!

Please send your recipes to drpeters67@hotmail.com or Ntsapir@aol.com.

You can also drop them off at the Circulation desk of the library.

All recipes must be submitted by August 1, 2009.
Thank you so much for helping us to help our town library!
