The Library continues to need your help

In Fiscal Year 2008, the Library budget was reduced by $20,900. Thanks to your generosity, we are within $500 of our goal of raising $20,000 to make up for the cuts to our book budget.

Thank you for showing such strong support and appreciation for your library!

The Fiscal Year 2009 budget will be almost as tight. There are many ways to show your support, through volunteering, donations of books, and financial contributions. We thank you deeply, for all of it.

Check out the newest addition to the Library Courtyard. The ship on top of the weathervane is a copper model of the Joseph Holmes, the largest vessel ever built in the Jones River. This model stood on top of the new Town House until the supporting pole was bent by a strong wind.
