October 1st at 7 PM- Invasive Species of the Northeast with Bob Michelson

Bob Michelson will present “Invasive Species of the Northeast” on Monday, October 1 at 7PM  at the Kingston Council on Aging, 30 Evergreen Street.

In this program, attendees will learn about several invasive species that are frequently seen in the Northeast. They will also learn how to help stop the spread f these non-native species to the area.

Some animals have been local for over 100 years, and others are moving their way into the local environment. Nonindigenous species have forever changed the ecosystems of the Northeast.

Robert Michelson, of Braintree, has been a professional photographer and videographer since 1974. He is the owner of Photography By Michelson Inc.  He was also the senior New England environmental news correspondent for Underwater USA, a national monthly newspaper for SCUBA divers from 1988-92  and a regular science contributor to the Patriot Ledger, a large regional daily newspaper in Massachusetts from 1992-94
