The Kingston Public Library, 6 Green St., will host a Foster Parent Information Session at 6:00 p.m. Nov. 5 for residents interested in becoming a foster parent.
Across Massachusetts children are in need of a caring foster family. When parents and relatives aren’t able to provide the proper care and support for a child, the Department of Children and Families looks to foster families for help.
Attendees can learn about the process of becoming a foster parent, get information about foster parent training, and find resources about foster parent support programs. Additionally, there will be a foster parent available to answer any questions. Registration is requested and can be completed by clicking the button below, or visiting the library’s online calendar at www.kingstonpubliclibrary.org or by calling the library at 781-585-0517 ext 6278
